Blue Cornflower — Centaurea cyanus — 100+ Seeds
Blue cornflowers grow up to 60 cm tall, with rough, medium green leaves and abundant bright blue flowers all summer. Pinch them off to encourage longer flowering. Flowers are 5 cm wide and look amazing in cut flower arrangements.
Start seeds indoors in March and April; transplant or seed outdoors in April, May, and June. Lightly cover seed with soil; keep moist. Space 15-30 cm apart. Moderate water, drought-tolerant. Full sun to partial shade.
Annual. Attracts butterflies and bees.
Seed life: 3 years.
