California Poppy — Eschscholzia — 20+ Seeds

California poppies grow 20-40 cm tall, with soft, light green fern-like leaves and abundant bright orange flowers all summer. The petals close at night or in cloudy weather.

Start seeds indoors in March and April; transplant or seed outdoors in April, May, and June. Lightly cover seed with soil; keep moist. Space 15-30 cm apart. Moderate water, drought-tolerant. Full sun to partial shade.

Annual. Attracts butterflies and bees.
